Scribe Volunteer Agreement

Volunteer Responsibilities

• I agree to report to the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, remain present throughout the entire examination and inform authorities at least 48 hours in advance if unable to attend due to emergencies.
• I agree to write only what is dictated by the candidate without providing suggestions or corrections, maintain strict confidentiality of examination content and refrain from any malpractice or unfair means.
• I agree to perform scribing duties in a completely neutral and unbiased manner without allowing personal opinions to influence my transcription.
• I agree to abide by all examination rules, not carry unauthorized materials or electronic devices and follow all instructions given by examination authorities.
• I agree to comply with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and understand that violations may result in legal action under examination rules and the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
• I agree that my educational qualification is at least one level below the examination for which I am scribing and will provide proof if requested.
• I agree to provide scribing services on a voluntary basis (or for agreed Honorarium of Rs.400) and will not demand additional payment after the examination.
• I agree to carry valid government-issued photo identification and submit it for verification by examination authorities as required.
• I agree that I am in good physical and mental health to perform scribing duties for the entire examination duration.
• I agree to personally perform scribing duties and will not send any substitute or proxy in my place under any circumstances.
• I agree to maintain professional boundaries, refrain from any form of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior.

Legal Compliance

This agreement is governed by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable examination rules and regulations in India. Volunteers must comply with all relevant laws and institutional guidelines.
